The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other options and makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners or under furniture. It has a 220-degree lidar that combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to top up its battery halfway through a clean.
It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one sweep. Its 8,000pa suction motor makes short work of picking up dirt, crumbs and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brush helps to remove debris from corners.
The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can also be employed to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and fallen books.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It doesn't produce the same volume of sound while vacuuming or mopping and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to install and is effective however this is something that you'll have to keep an eye on in case you're purchasing this vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.
The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a wide range of features.

The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming as well as mopping. Its greatest feature was its accurate map of your floorplan that it uses to create an outline for cleaning. This made it easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture carpets, rugs, and other obstacles. The app also offers the option of setting 'No-Go zones' and virtual barriers, which can help to protect certain areas of your home from being cleaned with a mop.
We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well at picking up hair from pets. It was able to capture the majority of hair that shed by our cats and even got into the nooks and crannys of our stairs, where other robots struggled. It was fairly quiet and even had some lovely jingles to signalled when it was starting or finishing its work.
The app was too basic and you had to alter the modules every time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app is not able to store multiple maps. This could be an issue if your home has several floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who want a smart device that can vacuum and mop.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it has some unique features which are worth a look. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its huge dock, which doubles as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and the 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically eliminates.
The base also has a variety of control buttons that allow you to start a cleaning job or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.
The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in recognising objects.
The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage like a power cable draped over a rug. It won't work until you untangle it manually. Although this is not a common occurrence, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't have an "stuck" status alert in its app.
Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during cleaning. You'll need to manually swap between the two, which isn't too bad except for the fact that mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses and can cause mildew or mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing view in a market that is dominated by clunky, boxy units.
